  Minor Services Outage

HTTP Servers Sometimes are Running Slowly

Update: Ken's Study Journey has urgently replaced the HTTP Server software module in all Core (C) Servers.
2 May 2024 22:10 (GMT+8)

Update: Based on observations for several hours, the CPU usage fluctuates, moving to low (near 0%) and high (near 100%) levels very often.
2 May 2024 19:40 (GMT+8)

Update: Based on my further investigation, this is caused by the high CPU usage waiting for I/O (not in "used" state, but in "wait" state).
2 May 2024 13:50 (GMT+8)

Identified: I now discovered the cause of this issue.
The server memory is not being used properly (HTTP servers run slowly despite a very small memory usage). This is probably due to an incorrect server setting.
2 May 2024 08:20 (GMT+8)

Discovered: In recent days, I discovered that the Guangzhou (CN-CAN) HTTP web servers are running slowly (including Edge and Core Servers) when there are many visitors/users.
I am going to investigate and fix this issue in my free time.
